A whimsical animal is anything you want it to be! This Workshop is the perfect leap to take for any creative at any level! Whether you are a seasoned painter, or haven’t actually picked up a brush since 2nd grade art class, this class is for you. Enjoy the fun, loose, & expressive artistic process using materials like paint pens, newspaper clippings or other fun foraged collage papers, acrylic paint, and texture paste. Experiment with art materials, while getting clear concise instructions from a seasoned art teacher and professional artist.

In-person at The Grove in Gilbert, AZ on May 21st at 6:30PM MST

Online LIVE in the comfort of your own home on May 22nd, at 10am MST. You will receive an invite to a Private Facebook group, where I will be going live from my studio, guiding you through this painting process! Feel free to ask questions along the way, and share what you’ve created in the group 💖
This Live session will be recorded from the online class, and I will also be available to chat with you, as you engage in the demos, and any Q&A.

Meet Your Instructor.

Arizona-based painter, Miranda Gamel, creates fantastical worlds with tigers and women, working in oil paint, as well as aerosols and acrylic paints. Her work explores themes of self-discovery and empowerment through her strong imagery and vibrant colors. 

After graduating from a Fine Arts program,  Miranda focused on honing her mixed media painting skills, while sharing her knowledge all along the way. Miranda has taught private lessons, group workshops, and mentored artists all over the world.

Her process allows for the subject to emerge and transform, drawing a direct parallel to our journey through life.
